Still alot of work needed but can now start to see the shape its gonna be. I have to play around with the bottom of the rear bar to get the sides to flow with the flare, but hopefully by the end of the weekend it could be done

Ok, over the last few day alot of progress has happened. I an now at the stage where a fibreglass and bog mix are now being applied to the car. As you will be able to see in the pictures I have done something for the rear of the bar, started filling in the area on the front flares where the indicator goes, started intergrating the front flares in the the front bar, repairing the only visable dint on the car, started making the fuel filler cover smooth as well as working on the rear flares and the sides if the rear bar to make it look like it all belongs together. Once the main mods are strong enough on the rear bar I will be cutting out the center section and removing the moulds so I can then make the bar smooth.

So here are the current pictures. As you can see from the side shots, I have changed the side of the rear bar a bit since the last picture in order to make the rear flare and the rear bar flow together nicer

When you first posted this up I was thinking that it was going to be over done with and look ridiculous, and in my opinion it did look that way ion the middle, but I think it looks great now, and that chop looks phat. It would definitley be original. Nice project mate

Well unfortunately that chop is now wron as the side mould, side indicators and the rear bar are going to be a little different. I just went and had a quick check and I have actually made the gap under the front indicators almost the same as the top while getting the flare and bar to match up. I think for someone who has never attempted anything like this before I am not doing a bad job. Hopefully it all goes well as I only have 2 weeks to have the kit done before the car attends its first show and hopefully makes a few heads turn and mouths start talking

the bonnet scoop was actually really easy to fit. I just sanded a few parts to make it fit nice but other then that it was just a matter of drilling 4 holes
