250 2v Sounds awesome!

Just found this the other day.. sounds awesome when it revs at about 1min 30secs into it! anyone know what sort of mods it would have done to make it sound like this or would most of it be the exhaust?

hey Devo

This xa fairmont was my mates he sold it to the guy that made that video about 5 years ago befor he moved from qld down here to vic. That guy picked up the car and drove it home.

My mate spent about 8 grand on that 2v. It had custom roller rockers and a custom ground cam, hardend push rods, oversized forged pistons, 10/10 crank grind, heavy valve springs, ported polished flowed and shaved head, balanced and blueprinted block and bottom end, 4bbl manifold with a 600 holley on it, extractors and a 2 1/4 exhaust system, electronic dizzy, thats all i can remember.

One thing he did mention was he could never get the rocker ratio right and the engine would not rev as high as the cam was able to which was a bugger.

It was a very nice car he said to me it was the one car he regreats selling, he still has a collage of it on his wall at home that his ms made him

Factory green with the poler white interior all fairmont trim, top loader, 9 inch, gt grill and front spoiler, the only problem was he never had the time or money to fix the cancer in it.

It was rencently for sale on ebay about 5 months ago going for 6500 grand which was about what he sold it for originaly, he wanted to buy it back and fix it but money was tight, so who knows who owns it now, it is one very tough looking and sounding car
